The National Peasant League for Human Rights (LINAPEDHO) warns about mining in the Lubudi Sampwe hunting area belonging to the Upemba National Park.

In its report of a field mission, this NGO reveals that the process for the reopening of the Kipafu quarry has already started while the MUVULE quarry is being exploited clandestinely.

In addition, the NGO recommends a mixed descent of the competent authorities to determine whether these two mining quarries are in the Lubudi Sampwe hunting area.
